Local Testimonials

"Prior to utilizing the APWU Electronic Grievance System our local grievances were only in paper files kept in a locked file cabinet at the back of the post office with little organization at all.  There was no way to trace settlements.  Now, with APWUegs our stewards can share information about what they are working on, follow the progress of a grievance, keep notes, documents and watch timelines all in one convenient place.  The time it saves has been invaluable as well.  I recommend the APWUegs wholeheartedly."

APWU has worked via e-Appeal committee to create a web-based grievance software system to improve the efficiency and security of our grievances.  Using "cloud" technology, this system allows users to fill grievance forms, save them to file and add documentation throughout each step of the grievance procedure.  This program has been coordinated with UnionSoft and it is currently rolled out to ANY local wishing to participate.

If you wish to participate, please complete the form above and/or email the eAppeal team direct to request your grievance system to be set up.  Each local is requested to:

  • Be willing to appoint at least one Administrator, who will be responsible for issuing local Officers and Stewards permission and level of access.
  • Make all efforts to use this program for grievances filed by the Local, regardless of Craft.
